The Silicon Workshop is a one-day, technical seminar designed to educate
semiconductor process and device engineers on the manufacturing of silicon
wafers. Senior R&D staff members present on the critical parameters encountered
when producing silicon wafers and discuss how these parameters may impact
the performance of integrated circuits, as well as, end-of-line yield. We
conclude the day with an examination of how the right starting materials will
enable future generations and new technologies. The program also features a
video that provides a comprehensive overview of the silicon manufacturing
process.
